Ultimate Fighter semifinalist, Nam Pham will fight explosive WEC featherweight, Leonard Garcia, on the main card of the Ultimate Fighter Finale this Saturday night. 145 pounds is Nam Pham’s usual fighting weight. His last official fight was at an MMA event in April where he beat Rodney Rhoden via armbar in the first round. Pham defeated Spencer Paige and Cody McKenzie before losing a close split decision to Michael Johnson this season on The Ultimate Fighter.

Strikeforce Books Lashley vs. Sims for Strikeforce: Miami.

January 23, 2010

From MMAJunkie:

A rumored bout between heavyweights Wes Sims (22-12-1 MMA, 0-0 SF) and Bobby Lashley (4-0 MMA, 0-0 SF) finally has materialized for next week’s “Strikeforce: Miami” card…

Wow.  Is Strikeforce bringing back their version of WWF Superstars of Wrestling?  This is almost the equivalent of an old school jobber match.  No disrespect to Sims but he was not impressive on the Ultimate Fighter.  I’m hoping Bobby Lashley proves to the MMA world he is truly legit.
