Scott Lost Retirement Match Tonight!

July 30, 2010

We normally don’t cover the indies here at FighterHayabusa, but if and when we do, it’s probably because we really believe in, and truly enjoy the promotion.  We’ve always felt there are enough sites out there that cover what goes on in the indies but when it comes to PWG’s Scott Lost, we’ll support the guy time and time again.

Tonight, one of Southern California’s greatest ring technicians is going to retire. Scott Lost, in his final pro wrestling match, is wrestling Scorpio Sky at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s “Seven” tonight. If you’ve seen him in action you don’t need to read this article to know how good of a pro wrestler he is.

Official PWG card at WrestleReunion thoughts and banter!

January 30, 2010

Again, the old men of FighterHayabusa.com were watching old reruns of Manimal on Youtube last night.  They decided to take a break to Instant Message each other about the PWG card happening tonight at WrestleReunion.  Here’s what was said…

Mascara De Fuego: We should mention that PWG will have their card on Saturday night. What are you looking forward on that card?

GreatPUMA: I’m excited for it. This will be the first time I get to see PWG since I was too lazy and practical to drive to fuckin’ RESEDA of all places.

GreatPUMA: I’m looking forward to finally seeing The Young Bucks and the REAL non-WWE Brian Kendrick. Of course Rob Van Dam is going to be a treat.

Mascara De Fuego: For me, its going to be Liger and Generico!

The big indy event of the first part of the year happens this weekend as WrestleReunion hits Los Angeles and the LAX Hilton.

With rare appearances in North America for The Great Muta and Jushin “Thunder” Liger and live shows by PWG and ROH, the weekend would be a big one without the autograph and photo sessions with Liger, Muta, Rob Van Dam, Bruno Sammartino, Super Crazy, Stan Hansen, Austin Idol, Nick Bockwinkel, Larry Zbyszko, former WWF Tag Team champions Demolition (Bill Eadie & Barry Darsow), Koko B. Ware, Diamond Dallas Page, Road Warrior Animal, Tammy Sytch, Terri Runnells, and Scotty “2 Hotty” Taylor. A weekend-long Superticker gets you 2 autographs from all guests brought in by the convention itself, front-of-the-line access for photo and autograph sessions, meet and greets with ROH and PWG wrestlers before their events as will as ringside seats to their events, an event t-shirt, program and more.

The Friday ROH event will feature World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes and The Young Bucks vs. The American Wolves and The Kings of Wrestling, ROH champ Austin Aries vs. Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Roderick Strong vs. Delirious, Jerry Lynn vs. Kenny King, Tyler Black vs. Joey Ryan, The Human Tornado vs. Kevin Steen, an Anything Goes Match with Necro Butcher vs. Erick Stevens, and El Generico & Colt Cabana vs. Scott Lost & Scorpio Sky.

Saturday’s PWG event will feature The Great Muta & KAI vs. Scott Lost & Joey Ryan, Brian Kendrick vs. Kevin Steen, Davey Richards vs. Super Crazy, Chris Hero vs. Roderick Strong vs. Rob Van Dam, PWG Tag Team champions The Young Bucks vs. Human Tornado & Chuck Taylor, El Generico vs. Jushin Liger, and Brandon Bonham vs. Brandon Gatson.

People who cannot make the event can take advantage of one of two ways to get autographs from the guests. WrestleReunion are offering fans the chance to mail in items to be signed by one of the 16 guests, while Highspots are offering a $99 pack which includes 8X10s of all 16 guests, a tee shirt from the event, and an event program.
