WWE World Heavyweight Title Steel Cage Match

(RKO is Banned, Kane is the “Keeper of the Cage”)

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton

Mascara De Fuego: Rollins. Let me first start off by saying, FUCK this pay per view. Nothing feels worth this show being put on. They should pull a UFC move and just cancel this bullshit. Who fucking care about this show that will be forgotten about!? Anyhow, Rollins will win this match when he and Kane end up on the same page again. Orton will huff and puff about being screwed the night after this shit. No reason why this should not be a good match. Orton will end up using the RKO as some point, probably after the match.

Great Puma: Rollins. Rollins is the best thing going in the WWE right now. There’s no reason for him to lose and Orton is over no matter what position he’s at on the card. I’m sure they’ll steal the show and an RKO-festival is going to happen so the live crowd can go home happy.

Fastlane Predictions & Thoughts

February 22, 2015

#1 Contenders Match
Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan
Mascara De Fuego: Roman Reigns. I know the rumblings of either replacing Reigns at Mania or making it a triple threat but my gut still tells me that they are sticking to their original plan and putting Reigns in the main event against Brock Lesnar for the title. What I do think will change the out come of the WrestleMania main event is if Lesnar does stay with the WWE. If he does, I don’t think you should take the title off of him and have this match as a learning lesson for Reigns. After this build up to Bryan vs. Reigns, the only one who’s shining at the moment is in fact the WWE Champion. As for the match, I have to think that Bryan will carry Reigns to possibly the best singles match of his career.
Great Puma: Double DQ or Double Countout. I want that Triple Threat to happen for the Wrestlemania main event. The WWE has to realize by now that Reigns is just not ready. He has a strong pop but it’s nowhere near Daniel Bryan’s reaction. Having Reigns go over Lesnar will backfire big time. The fans want Bryan to win, or Lesnar to retain. It’s as simple as that.

WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Predictions

January 23, 2015

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins
Mascara De Fuego: John Cena… then Seth Rollins. I hate this prediction but I think this is the way they will book the show. Brock being the wild-card in regards to his contract leaves him in an odd place. Yeah, he will work WrestleMania but I don’t think they will put him in the main event since it will probably be his last show. I would love to see Brock stick around but I think its a forgone conclusion that 1-the WWE can’t afford to keep Brock around anymore and 2-the UFC can afford him… with that, Brock will lose the title to Cena (who unfortunately then ties Ric Flair with World Title wins) but as usual for Cena, he will get cashed in on (again) and lose the title to Seth Rollins who will then go to WrestleMania as champion. Let’s face it, he’s been the ONLY heel that they’ve built up into a place where main eventing Mania is actually viable option for him. Lord knows, they’ve been sucking at utilizing Brock Lesnar’s limited dates. Maybe on the way out, Brock can put over Roman Reigns WITHOUT the title on the line.
Great Puma: Brock Lesnar. If rumors of Brock heading back to Dana-Ville are true, Brock Lesnar should leave the WWE after losing his title to Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania. This keeps Brock looking strong and allows him to come back on favorable terms, if and when he decides to come back. It would be bad business for Cena to win in Philadelphia on Sunday. There’s little doubt that the Philly crowd will drop a giant turd on any finish that doesn’t involve Seth Rollins or Brock Lesnar leaving the ring with the WWE title around their waists. I don’t know what they do with Cena for Wrestlemania and I don’t care. Brock vs. Bryan, and Sting vs. HHH is a strong pair of main events to build ‘Mania around.

TLC 2014 predictions

Tables Match

(If Cena loses the match he loses his shot at the WWE World Title.)

John Cena vs. Seth Rollins

Mascara De Fuego: Cena. I think it would be stupid to go against super-Cena in this match. Ultimately it’s a meaningless match with the added stip to add more intrigue but that’s all for not. It’s hard to be excited for this show when NXT put on a great show on Thursday night!

Great Puma: Seth Rollins. Another full mark pick from yours truly. I really don’t want to see Cena vs. Brock again at the Rumble, but that’s the rumored plan for now. I hate it already and I would hate to see Randy interfere at the end to give Cena the cheap W. Whatever happens, I hope Seth is looking strong and I expect him to go all Shawn Michaels and steal the pay per view. (more…)

Hell in a Cell Predictions

October 24, 2014

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

Masacara De Fuego: Dean Ambrose. Ambrose needs this win AND to main event this pay per view if we are to see him as a main event player. This is make-it-or-break-it time for this character and its time to give other guys a try to see if they sink or swim. Rollin’s roll in this match should be to make Ambrose look like a million bucks! I’m hoping that this will be the match that not only stands out but gets high praise for 2014.

Great Puma: Ambrose. This is a full mark pick and I wholeheartedly agree with MDF’s argument. Rollins is already established as a big deal and the people have bought in. Ambrose seems to still be on the fence with a lot of the fans. I don’t think the Gallagher shenanigans are doing Ambrose any favors, but I do think he should keep the ketchup and mustard attack. I think a sick promo, a few great moments in the ring, and a win are exactly what Ambrose needs to be pushed into the main event circle.

WWE Battleground – Predictions

July 20, 2014

Battleground Seth Dean 2014

Fatal Four Way for the WWE Title

John Cena vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Mascara De Fuego: Cena. Its fairly obvious that Hunter’s plan “C” is Brock Lesnar. I still think it’s a great idea to put it on Lesnar and it only makes sense against Cena. He gets vengeance for losing his first match back to the fed which was against Cena many moons ago. Not a bad selling point. The match should be good but not great.

Great Puma: Cena. The cat is outta the bag ain’t it? Promotional poster leaks of Cena vs. Lesnar at Summerslam are all over the interwebz. Is the WWE smart enough to use web leaks to sway their audience in a different direction? I’m thinking not. I expect Reigns to get the most shine despite the inevitable LOLCENAWINS outcome. Looking forward to Brock Lesnar destroying Super Cena in August.

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Great Puma: Rollins. People love the chase. The WWE loves the chase. If Ambrose wins, this feud dies. Rollins winning by cowardly, heel ways, would push the storyline and just make the crowd adore Dean Ambrose more. I say Ambrose kicks Rollins ass for thirteen to fifteen minutes, and then Rollins wins with a lot of help from his Authority stablemates. And the beat goes on and on and on and on…

Mascara De Fuego: Ambrose. Man, I really hope this is match of the night. Feels right about time to do this match and Ambrose needs a good win after this week’s beat down. I can’t wait to see these two finally working against each other.

Money in the Bank Predictions!

June 27, 2014

MITB 2014 LARGE_Predictions

Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
United States Champion Sheamus vs. Kane vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
Mascara De Fuego: John Cena… I really hate to say it but my gut is telling me this fucker winning this match. Yeah there are rumors that Brock Lesnar will main event SummerSlam against the Champion but I think even if he wasn’t they’d still put the titles on this guy. I would love to see Wyatt or Cesaro take it for a big swerve. Too early to put it on Reigns in my option, I think they need to do the slow burn with him. Anyone else just doesn’t make sense and would be a TERRIBLE swerve.
Great Puma: Cesaro. Cena vs. Brock is the big money match for Summerslam, but Cesaro is the choice that’s going to make fans the most happy here. I realize it’s a full mark pick but somebody has to do it. Let Cena get it back at Battleground before he takes on the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. The key here is that Paul Heyman can carry the main event mic duties over the summer until Bryan or Brock get the World Title back.

Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match
Kofi Kingston vs. RVD vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs. Jack Swagger
Great Puma: Seth Rollins. I think seeing Dean Ambrose screw Seth Rollins at every cash in attempt is quite a storyline. Why turn Seth Rollins if he’s not going to make a major impact in the upper tier of the roster? I’m so stoked for this match that I plan to bring extra panties… I mean underwear for the pay per view.
Mascara De Fuego: Seth Rollins… if Wade Barrett is injured and can’t do the match… I was going with Barrett before the news came out that he could possibly be injured. Rollins would be my next choice on taking the briefcase. Ambrose would be a nice swerve but other than that, similar to the other MITB match, anyone else would be a let down honestly.

WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions

February 23, 2014

Elmination Chamber 2014

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match

Randy Orton vs. John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro

Mascara De Fuego: Randy Orton. I would love to see Bryan or even Cesaro walk out with the title but I don’t think they are going to steer from their plans. Unfortunately we’re still getting a cold ass title match for WrestleMania. Should be a good match and it should set up Cena’s WrestleMania match and possibly even Bryan’s.

Great Puma: Randy Orton. This match will determine where all its participants will fit into the Wrestlemania card. It will also answer the question of who’s going to take CM Punk’s spot versus Triple H. The crowd definitely will be rooting for Daniel Bryan to win here, but I think the WWE still has its heart set on Batista vs. Orton, Cena vs. Bray, and Bryan vs. Triple H.
