Over all a solid night of matches and title changes!

PreShow

-I enjoyed the preshow announce team breaking down the stats for SummerSlam match between Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Going over strikes, how long Cena was down, etc. Nice touch. Booker did an odd interview with the Dust Brothers and AJ interrupted the panel to talk about her 3 way match tonight.

-Christian was back with the Peep Show, his guest was Chris Jericho. They do a friendly banter bit before getting down to what’s going on with Jericho and Orton. Orton interrupted from the Titantron to make fun of both and threaten that the only show Jericho will be on after tonight is Total Diva’s. Jericho retorts getting the crowd behind him to end the segment. Good seeing Christian back, even if just for this.

WWE Tag Team Champions Uso’s vs. Dust Brothers

-This was a solid opener with a lot of high spots and frequent tags. The finish came when Stardust got his knees up when one of the Uso’s was coming off the top rope with a splash. Star then rolled him up for the pin and the tag titles.

Winners: Dust Brothers new tag team champions

United States Champion Sheamus vs. Cesaro

-Slow paced match from the get go but picks up the pace, both hitting hard and getting near falls. The end came when Sheamus hit the brogue kick out of nowhere for the pin and the win. Another solid match so far.

Winner: Sheamus

-Mark Henry and Big Show do a segment in the back where Show gives him USA tights for tonight.

-Florida Georgia Line is brought out, for what reason who knows…!? They are joining Tribute for the Troops… yay…

Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler R-Ziggler vs. The Miz w/Damien MIZdow

-Florida Georgia Line stay on commentary for this match… fuck. This is distracting from the match… Both stunt doubles got ejected from ringside for getting involved with this band. Miz got the figure four on but Ziggler fought to the ropes for the break. Mizdow ran back out for the distraction only to take a superkick. Miz took the opportunity to roll up Ziggler with a hand full of tights for the win and the title.

Winner: Miz new IC champion

-the injury of Roman Reigns is covered next.

-Seth Rollins comes out to shit talk Roman Reigns’ injury. He wants the ref to ring the bell and count out Reigns… which he does… Justin Roberts then announces him as the winner. Rollins then issues an open challenge since people wanted to see him wrestle… no one comes out… but all of a sudden a taxi shows up and its DEAN AMBROSE! He comes out to a massive ovation and the brawl has broken out! They fight through the stands, all over the arena. Steph and Hunter come out with officials to clean this mess up. They pull Ambrose off but only briefly before he jumps off some of the staging with an elbow. They then fight to the ring where Ambrose grabs a chair and the officials take him down before he can get to Rollins. Ambrose is then zip tied while the crowd chants for them to let him go. Ambrose is then carried out.

Rusev w/Lana vs. Mark Henry

-Henry comes out before Lillian Garcia sings the star spangled banner while Henry weeps… dude its not that bad of a rendition… crowd got heavily behind this. Both start the match with clubbing shots, from the get go Henry takes Rusev out of the ring several times. Rusev then grounded Henry, then tried the accolade but Henry fought out. Henry then got the world strongest slam but struggles to cover when Rusev rolls out of the ring. Rusev would then hit Henry with a pair of superkicks before putting Henry in the accolade for the submission.

Winner: Rusev

Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton

-Slow paced match that lead into a superplex from Orton. The match, like most before it did pick up the pace and go into near falls. Jericho getting one after the lionsault. Orton attempted the punt but it was blocked. He would go on to hit the DDT from the ropes before catching Jericho jumping off the top rope with an RKO for the pin and the win! Another good match!

Winner: Orton

-Brie is interviewed about this Diva’s match and her sister. Nothing to write home about.

Diva’s Champion Paige vs. Nikki Bella vs. AJ

-I just sat back to watch to see how this match was going to play out and quite honestly who ever put this match together did an awesome job here. This match was entertaining, letting Paige and AJ carry the match while having Nikki interject enough that it protected her from looking bad. The finish came with AJ putting Paige in the black widow for the tap out and the title.

Winner: AJ wins the Diva’s title.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

-Brock went right for Cena but Cena fought back and hit an AA seconds after the match started. Cena would then end up in a submission but got to the ropes. Brock then took over and started with the german suplexes. Cena tried to fight back but Brock went back to working on his arm. Brock would then hit triple vertical suplexes. Cena would fight back more than last time but Brock would knock him down. Cena then came back with another AA for a 2 count. Cena then got Brock in the STF but it was turned into a kimora by Brock. Cena would stand to fight out of the move and hit another AA into the STF again. Brock then took ANOTHER AA before Seth Rollins came in with his briefcase and hit Cena! Rollins then turned around to look at Brock and hit the curb stomp to Brock!! HE’s cashing in!!! Cena stops this from happening  though… Brock hit Cena with an F5 for good measure.

Winner: Cena by DQ
