Survivor Series 2012 [Live Updates]

by

Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN

They show a slick video package featuring a timeline of CM Punk’s title reign.

Traditional Survivor Series Match

Brodus Clay, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Rey Mysterio, & Sin Cara defeated The Primetime Players (Titus O’Neil & Darren Young), Tensai, Primo, Epico

  1. Tensai eliminates Brodus Clay via running senton
  2. Justin Gabriel eliminates Tensai by crucifix pin
  3. Tyson Kidd eliminates Titus O’Neil modified Victory Roll
  4. Tyson Kidd eliminates Epico by submission with a Sharpshooter
  5. Rey Mysterio eliminates Primo with a roll up.
  6. Rey Mysterio eliminates Darren Young via Missile Splash to win the match.

Aksana tried to attack Kaitlyn again but her attempt failed when Kaitlyn fought her off.

Great Puma: Great curtain jerker. I wish Primo and Epico had a little more time to shine, but all the participants put forth a sick match.

Mascara de Fuego: Good opener, but I wish they would have pushed this match prior to the ppv, especially since it was a good match.

Divas Championship Match

Eve© defeats Kaitlyn via Neckbreaker

Mascara de Fuego: Wow, not a horrible match and Kaitlyn looked pretty good here. Good shit I have to say.

Great Puma: Good match. Neat finish with Eve using the ring apron like a Fit Finaly protege. Kaitlyn did well for herself.

Alberto Del Rio disses Dolph Ziggler in front of their Team Ziggler members in the back. Hilarious.

Team Foley argues in the back. Mick Foley goes all Bill Murray in Stripes on his team.

Antonio Cesaro comes out and shits on America’s economy and obesity rate.

United States Championship Match

Antonio Cesaro © defeats R-Truth via Gotch Neutralizer

Great Puma: Good match but I really want to see Cesaro to go faster than mid-tempo. Watching Cesaro wrestle is like listening to Sade. Not a bad thing if you think about it. Just not great.

Mascara de Fuego: Ok match, quick and to the point. Like Puma pointed out, Cesaro needs to work on his selling shit in the WWE. I like this push thus far but he definitely has a lot of work in front of him.

AJ Lee comes out and tries to humiliate Vicky Guerrero with funny photoshops on the Titantron. Haha. Tamina runs in, destroys AJ, and then gives her a Superfly Splash. Cool! For some reason, AJ acting chops were left backstage.

Josh Mathews interviews Paul Heyman backstage. Heyman does Heyman, and he was brilliant.

World Heavyweight Championship Match

Big Show © pins Sheamus via KO Punch after the ref was Brogue Kicked. Then another ref disqualifies Big Show after the first decision.

Mascara de Fuego: Good, fast paced match with a stupid ending. This was my favorite match of between the two thus far even though I didn’t like the ending.

Great Puma: It’s amazing how these two bulls went at a much faster pace than Cesaro and Truth. Good match with a wack ending.

Traditional Survivor Series Match

Team Ziggler (David Otunga, Dolph Zigger, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, and Wade Barrett) defeat Team Foley (Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Randy Orton, Kane, and Daniel Bryan)

  1. Kane eliminates Damien Sandow via Chokeslam.
  2. Dolph Ziggler eliminates Kane via Zig Zag
  3. Daniel Bryan eliminates David Otunga by tapout from the No! Lock
  4. Wade Barrett eliminates Kofi Kingston via “The Bull Hammer” or some shit
  5. Alberto Del Rio eliminates Daniel Bryan with a Cross Arm Breaker
  6. Alberto Del Rio eliminates the Miz via Springboard Enziguiri
  7. Randy Orton eliminates ADR with a RKO
  8. Dolph Ziggler takes out Randy Orton with a Superkick and wins the Survivor Series match

Great Puma: Solid match that pretty much was booked by the numbers. Glad they gave Ziggler the W.

Mascara de Fuego: Another good fast paced Survivor Series match. I’ve enjoyed these matches this year and glad Ziggler finally got a high profile win.

WWE World Championship Match

CM Punk © retains against Ryback and John Cena, when Cena was Shell Shocked by Ryback,  who was taken out by Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns

Mascara de Fuego: That was a good main event and they did a great job on keeping Ryback strong. Awesome seeing Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins come in for the interference. Hopefully  they wont get jobbed by Ryback over the next couple of weeks. Overall, good ppv I thought. T

Great Puma: Good match with an amazing finish. So glad Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose made it to the big show!!!
