Youtube Pre-Pay Per Match

Santino pins Miz via Cobra

Mascara de Fuego: Fine for what it was. Chicago was hot for Santino.

Falls Count Anywhere

Randy Orton pins Kane via RKO on a steel chair

Mascara de Fuego: Nice opener, crowd definitely got into it after they got back to the ring from the back. For a match I had no interest in, it was good.

Great Puma: Lots of brawling on the outside with a near fall in a corridor off of a sick RKO. There was even a brief Zack Ryder run-in. The match certainly picked up once they brought to the ring and went full throttle. The crowd was hot and the match was brutal and fast paced. Great curtain jerker to start the pay per view.

Brodus Clay pins Dolph Ziggler via Running Splash

  • Loud “Let’s go Ziggler” chant at the start.

Great Puma: I love the fact that Chicago dropped a giant deep dish turd on internet darling, Brodus Clay. Lots of pro-Ziggler chants throughout the match made this better than what it was. I like Brodus and all but I like Ziggler more. I still think he deserves a decent run with a major title sooner than later. Good short squash match.

Mascara de Fuego: Entertaining match here, Clay finally gets a real match and Ziggler did A LOT for him. Chicago recognized that.

Intercontinental Championship Tables Match

Cody Rhodes defeated the Big Show to become the new Intercontinental Champion via a table breaking when Big Show stepped back on it from the ring apron

Mascara de Fuego: An accidental victory, probably the best was to take the title off of Show. The best spots of the match where actually after the match.

Great Puma:  Really short with an odd ending. Loved Cody’s Beautiful Disaster Kick off the leaning table. Good reaction for Cody’s win. Decent match but it ended way to quickly.

2 Out Of 3 Falls Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Sheamus (champion) retains the World Title against Daniel Bryan via Brogue Kick

  • Sheamus gains the first fall via DQ. Bryan continued to kick Sheamus’ left arm while Sheamus was on the ropes after the ref counted to five.
  • Daniel wins the second fall after Sheamus passes out after being caught in a YES Lock on his injured arm.
  • Sheamus sells his severely injured arm but manages to Brogue Kick Daniel Bryan for the third and deciding fall.

Great Puma: This was a masterpiece. Much respect to both wrestlers. They brought it for this match. Epic story tellling.

Mascara de Fuego: Fuck that was a ppv stealer of a match right there! Sheamus finally looked like a World Champion here.

Handicap Squash Match

Ryback destroys Two Local Wrestlers via Running Samoan Drop

Mascara de Fuego: Short and to the point. Didn’t let the chants of Goldberg phase him

Great Puma: I like Ryback and I liked this match. Good stuff. I tweeted that the Goldberg chants were a compliment.

Chicago Street Fight for the WWE Championship
CM Punk (champion) retains against Chris Jericho via GTS

Great Puma: Great match. Not everybody can follow the masterpiece that Daniel Bryan and Sheamus just wrestled but Jericho and Punk certainly held it down and entertained the crowd. This pay per view is delivering a hundred times more than I expected! Way to go WWE!

Mascara de Fuego: Damn man, just when I thought Bryan and Sheamus stole the show. Even with Punk’s slip ups this was a solid ass match!

Eve tells the Bella twins that they have a mystery opponent.

WWE Divas Championship
Layla wins the Divas Championship from the Bellas via Rude Awakening Neck Breaker

Mascara de Fuego: Good surprise but definitely not what the crowd wanted… they wanted a killing here by Kharma. Layla’s been working on her shit, that’s for sure.

Great Puma: I like the surprise but I would have loved for Kharma to come in and do her thing. Good match for what it was and Layla impressed with her much improved ability.

Extreme Rules Match
John Cena defeats Brock Lesnar via Attitude Adjustment on steel steps

  • Brock comes out first. Good pop but it seems like the crowd is still on the fence on how to treat Brock.
  • Cena came out to the usual 50/50 split.
  • Lesnar comes out with a double leg and starts throwing elbows. Blood!
  • After the match, Cena gets on the mic and panders to the crowd. He alludes to going out with a bang. Odd.

Great Puma: Awesome match in that it started off in such an awkward way and then ended up being wrestled very well by both men. This was bloody and brutal. Not the best match of the night but a great match nonetheless.

Mascara de Fuego: This was brutal and but Cena winning… really??? Yes, this put over Brock huge but ultimately it exposes him as beatable… especially when Cena beating him.
