01-31-11 WWE RAW REVIEW

January 31, 2011

Show starts off with Ricardo Rodriguez coming out to the stage and intro’ing Mariachi’s and Mexican dancers. ADR then pulls in to the arena in a convertible Benz. ADR says us people never listen but he reminds us that he said it was his destiny. Rodriguez is doing a Flavor Flav job repeating the last words Alberto says. He calls Mariachi music REAL music. He says he’s going after…. but before he can finish The Miz comes out with Riley. Miz congratulates Del Rio and says that’s impressive like winning Money in the Bank and cashing it in to be WWE Champion. Miz wants to face Alberto but how Edge was making fun of Del Rio. This is funny.

Live Royal Rumble Updates!!!

January 30, 2011

We’ll be here giving you fine folks live updates of the 2011 Royal Rumble! Keep refreshing!

Edge is out!

Edge defeats Dolph Ziggler via the Unprettier/KillSwitch!!!!

Great Puma – Good opener with a HOT HOT crowd. Props to Boston for holding it down. A great crowd always makes a match better! I like Zigglers rope assisted neck breaker. If there’s anything that Dolph does well, it’s selling his ass off.

Mascara de Fuego – Great opener. It moved fast and the crowd was into it. I think a rematch would be just as entertaining. Cool to see Edge hit the Killswitch/Unprettier.

Miz defeats Randy Orton via CM Punk run in and GTS.

Mascara de Fuego – Solid WWE Title match and a good win for Miz. Sets up Punk vs. Orton for WrestleMania.

Great Puma – Decent match. Orton hit an Angle Slam. What’s-up-with-that? Punk saved a pretty lackluster title defense. The Flying Alex Riley spot was a sight to see.

Royal Rumble Predictions

January 30, 2011

Mascara De Fuego: Welcome to the Royal Rumble preview, Puma how are you this fine night.

Great Puma: I’m alright considering. Beer at my side and belly is full.

Mascara De Fuego: Sounds good, I went to the movies but they oversold the movie then gave me shit about wanting a refund because as they said under their breathe, “he must not care about the plot line”. But I digress… and here we go!

Ring of Honor: WrestleReunion Results & Thoughts

January 29, 2011

The ROH tag champions Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli start the night with a promo cutting down the Lakers and Disneyland.

Bravado Brothers beat Caleb Konley & Cedric Alexander.

Great Puma: Solid match.  I was impressed with Cedric Alexander. His suicide dive between Konley’s open legs was very cool.

Mascara De Fuego: Good tag team opener, nothing too long which is good.

Brock Lesnar is not in Las Vegas to babysit

January 27, 2011

Heavy.com interview Part 2

Personally, I’d be stoked if I was picked to be on Brock’s team. Lesnar is a no-nonsense athlete and I’m sure he’s going to be putting forth his best effort on his path to regaining his World Heavyweight Title. As a coach, I think Brock will be phenomenal and I think his hardcore work ethic will be main thing his students benefit from. TUF 13 can’t come soon enough. Brock fans enjoy.

If anybody questions Brock Lesnar’s ability to coach, here’s a quick list of his coaching staff.

BJJ
Rodrigo “Comprido” Medeiros (Received black belt from Rolls Gracie, multiple time BJJ World Champion)

MMA/Catch Wrestling
Erik Paulson (His mix martial arts lineage is a who’s who of martial arts and catch wrestling from Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto to Karl Gotch and Mitsuyo Maeda)

Grappling
Marty Morgan (Former Olympic Greco-Roman wrestler, Former Assistant Head Coach of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers wrestling team)

Boxing & Striking
Peter Welch (Former Golden Gloves champion)

Strength & Conditioning
Luke Richarson (Strength coach for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars)

MMA/Striking
Greg Nelson (World Champion Muay Thai instructor/coach)

01-27-10 TNA IMPACT! RANT

January 27, 2011

Typical IMPACT! beginning that involved Kurt Angle and Immortal yip yapping. Lame story short Flair reinstates Angle and Bischoff isn’t happy about it.

In an elimination tag team match, Angelina love is the sole survivor. The teams where The Beautiful People vs. Tara & Sarita. I was bored. Before the match Winter argued with TBP and mysterious someone fucks up Skye in the back after she got eliminated… hmm I wonder.
